MyGrades Example Spreadsheets
NOTE: All examples shown here should be seperate sheets in a single Google Spreadsheet workbook.
Main Spreadsheet:
Main page must include the following:
- Linking from other tabs to the Main page (Hint: Linking shown in lecture and includes a "!")
- Formatting (bold, decimals, alignment, etc)
- Formulas for Average , Standard Deviation, and Addition for the Overall Grade.    Note: "(B1+C1+D1)/3" will not be accepted for full credit for the Average
Quiz Spreadsheet:
Quiz page must include the following:
- Formatting (bold, decimals, alignment, etc)
- Your Quiz scores returned back at this point. The rest can be made-up.
- Weighted average calculated for all students
- Formulas for Average and Standard Deviation.    Note: "(B1+C1+D1)/3" will not be accepted for full credit for the Average
Homework Spreadsheet:
Homework page must include the following:
- Formatting (bold, decimals, alignment, etc)
- Your homework scores returned back at this point. The rest can be made-up.
- Weighted average calculated for all students
- Formulas for Average and Standard Deviation.    Note: "(B1+C1+D1)/3" will not be accepted for full credit for the Average
Class Participation Spreadsheet:
Class Participation page must include the following:
- Formatting (bold, decimals, alignment, etc)
- A made-up score for your participation
- Weighted average calculated for all students. Even though it is one number the formula must still be used.
- Formulas for Average and Standard Deviation.    Note: "(B1+C1+D1)/3" will not be accepted for full credit for the Average
Final Project Spreadsheet:
Final Project page must include the following:
- Formatting (bold, decimals, alignment, etc)
- Made up scores for your final project
- Weighted average calculated for all students
- Formulas for Average and Standard Deviation.    Note: "(B1+C1+D1)/3" will not be accepted for full credit for the Average
Pie Chart Spreadsheet:
3D Pie Chart must include the following:
- Note the data for the chart is on another sheet
- Weights are from the syllabus
- Chart is 3D, legend is on right, your name is the title, and percent values are shown for each section
- The chart is on its own page
