Embedding a Khan Academy Program into a Web Page

Follow the steps below to embed your program on your web page.

1. Log in to Khan Academy and go to the Computer Programming page and select "My Programs".


2. Select the program that you wish to embed.


3. Click the "Share" button, located just above the results box that displays your program.


4. Click the checkboxes for:
   • Hide Editor
   • Hide Buttons
   • Hide Author and Playback


5. Highlight and copy the embed code (see image below for example).
   
   
   
   
6. Paste the code in the body of your Javascripts web page (i.e. your javascripts.html page).


7. After you paste the code into your web page, remove the following:
   <p>Made using: <a href="http://www.khanacademy.org/cs">Khan Academy Computer Science</a>.</p>


8. Save the web page on your web server CPanel File Manager.

Test Your Web Page

• To be sure that you followed the instructions properly, open your Javascripts web page URL to view the embedded Khan program. It should appear similar to the one shown below (refresh browser to view animation).
