Creating a Google AdWords Campaign
Follow these instructions to create a Google AdWords campaign for your final project website:
- Go to adwords.google.com.
- Click the "Get Started Now" button.
- Enter your non-URI gmail email address and domain name as shown in the image below, then click "Continue".

- If you are not already signed into your gmail account, you will be asked to sign in before creating your first campaign. Otherwise, you will see the page to create your first campaign. There will be 4 parts that you must complete in order to create your campaign:
Part 1: Decide how much to spend

Part 2: Choose a target audience

Part 3: Set your bid
Leave the default option "Automatically set my bids to get the most clicks within my budget"
Part 4: Write your ad
- Once you have entered your ad information, click "Save and Continue" at the bottom of the page. This will bring you to the Billing page.
Important: we do NOT require you to actually purchase this ad, so please do NOT enter any billing information.
Click the Back arrow of your browser to go back to “Your first campaign” tab.
- Place a screenshot in your assignment document showing your daily budget and keywords.

- Place a screenshot in your assignment document showing your bid and your text ad.
